With the excitement about the release of the 1926 census on 18th April, you shouldn’t be surprised that most of April & May sessions are about it. Each one will be tailored for the area I’m speaking in.

Thursday 30th April in Ennis for Clare Roots Society at 19:30 in Clare Education Centre, Kilrush Road, Ennis V95 F782. This will be a hybrid talk but I’ll be there in person. Delighted to be making a return to the Banner.

Wednesday 27th May online for Family Tree Plus at 12:30 GMT discussing the 1926 census. This talk will be recorded so if you can’t make it and have a FT Plus membership, you can watch it back. I’ll also have an article in Family Tree magazine to accompany this in the July issue (out in June).
On Saturday 23rd May, I’m giving an online workshop for the Victoria Genealogical Society. This will be all about censuses and census substitutes and will examine 18th, 19th and 20th century Irish records.
I’m back at the Society of Genealogists on Saturday 30th May (this time online only) to talk about the Irish 1926 census. Booking details available here.
